Ghanaian Gospel Singer, Joyce Blessing, the latest signee to Zylofon Media says she’s happy a record label now sees the worth of Gospel Artistes and signs them.
Being the first to get signed to a major record label, she says, “it was difficult signing Gospel artistes. But we are grateful that a record label has come to the aid of Gospel musicians as well. Normally, it is the secular musicians who get signed but Zylofon Media is doing something different. They are looking our way now. Thanks to Zylofon Media, especially the CEO, Nana K. Appiah.”
Sammy Baah (Sammy Flex), who is PRO for Zylofon Media says, “each of our artistes is entitled to a house, which should be ready within a year. So within a year they would be moving into their apartment (provided by Zylofon Media). We have given them some goodwill money as well. They will take some refresher courses – either locally or internationally – (where necessary) to upgrade themselves professionally. Within the 4-year period, they will produce albums and songs, of which music videos will be shit for. We have a full set production house here at Zylofon Media, we have a Marketing Team, Promotions Team etc, so we are sure the other sides of the job will be taken care of.”
