AK Songstress ready to unleash her head most “History” album on her birthday.

25 November 2017 marks the “King Of Queens” birthday, it comes of at Hortical nightclub, Car price, Accra. Paradise Entertainment’s signee AK Songstress is lacing up to release her forthcoming maiden album christened “History” on her birthday. As the album name implies it’s going to one of the groundbreaking releases ever in the history of Ghana reggae/dancehall music and music in general. It’s an undeniable fact, AK Songstress is the first Ghana artist to ever set the record of unveiling a 19 track video album. It has never been done. The album will be available on all online shops and digital platforms. It will also be sold at the venue. Illustrious artists and celebrities will be gracing the album launch.

The videos were directed by notable cinematographers such Xbill Ebenezer, Rex, Steve Gyamfi, et al. It is important to note that, the album is dedicated to her fans. She is also the first Ghanaian female reggae/dancehall diva to record classic joints with Patoranking and Jamaican big leaguer Sizzla Kalonji.

She rose to prominence in 2013 following the release of “Di Emprez” an introductory song announcing her presence in the industry and increased her exposure further by collaborating with overseas artists, including Sizzla Kalonji and Patoranking. Known for her energetic, stage command, mind-blowing performance, ragga and singing credibility & abilities, lyrical prowess and genius prone, she achieved wider and mainstream success when she followed up with smashing songs like “party, pace setter, machine man, my reason, holiday, fenkeh, naked truth, henya” among other songs.

Many reggae/dancehall divas claim to be the baddest (best) lyricists in the industry but AK Songstress begs to differ, she sees herself rocking shoulders with men in extraordinary league. She proves this on her yet to be released single titled “Who Say Dem Bad” on a Jamaican riddim (Champ riddim). The song drops tomorrow 20/10/2017. Watch out.
